Carol's Story
After leaving Simeon in 1971, I went to Kennedy-King until my Mom died in 1973. After her death, I joined the Army to see the world. I lived in Germany for three years where I attended Maryland University and received my degree. After Germany, I lived in Korea for one year. After the Army I moved to New York with my husband (now X)
:-) After several years in NY, I missed Chicago and decided it was time for me to go home. On my way back to Chicago, I stopped in Washington,DC to visit my oldest brother. That was in 1985 and I have been here ever since. I try to get to Chicago at least once ...Expand for more
a year to catch a Cubs or White Sox game. I have a daughter (31) and a son (20), pluse a 4 year old grandson:-). I have a wonderful life, I love my job, my spiritual life and I'm very active in my church. My life is filled with good friends, a nice home and my work in my community. I expect to retire in approximately 7 years where upon I will take a Motor Home and drive all over this wonderful country of ours, enjoying life to the fullest:-) UPDATE: I have retired from the Department of Justice and enjoying life to the fullest! UPDATE: Watch for me in Macy's 2012 Thanksgiving Day Parade:-)
