Carol's Story

Life Let's see. I've got a great husband and 2 boys ages 7 and 4 as of 11/07. We started homeschooling both boys this school year. No Child Left Behind, class inclusion, and MCAS combined suck for anyone without disabilities which is why we're homeschooling. I never ever thought that I'd homeschool but the schools aren't cut out to handle kids that don't need to slow way down. Now I guess I'm a full time teacher, maid, laundress, chauffeur, tyrant, nurse... I love staying home and consider myself very fortunate to be able to do it. My 4 year old is slowly conning people into thinking he's adorable. In truth he should be making his final bid to take over the world before he's 5. aptain Underpants. It wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that all the books are based on the main characters' teachers are idiots and monsters who need to be destroyed. I'm now depicted as the monster idiot in half a dozen of my son's comics. At least he's creative. After high school I went right to work out in California, then I went to college. Dropped out of college when I got married at 20 (stupid, stupid, stupid). Got a divorce from a total scumbag control-freak. Reentered college, got married to the great guy mentioned above, dropped out of college when I had our first son. My mind is slowly turning to mush but as long as I stay ahead of the kids for a while, I'm okay with that. All in all, life is great right now.
