Life Dear Southie High friends, I would be happy to hear how you are doing. Feel free to drop me a line. I have spent a lot of my adult life in Asia teaching English--can you believe it! I have an 18 year old son! Finally, finished with babysitting! I'm back in school at U.Mass.Amherst for my Ed.D--it's grueling---- but I feel like my spirit is getting refueled! I also work there(as most students do)--tutoring English and bri...Expand for more
nging together undergraduate tutors and immigrant employees working in the cafeterias. (It's like being around my really Irish relatives --great stories and ideas.) Studying is exhausting--but the only reason you don't see more creativity among older folks(my opinion) may be that we don't feel the urgency of it. I'm trying to get that sense of 'urgency' and discovery back in my life.. it aint easy. but why not do it anyway? -Carol
