Carol's Story
I was a commercial art student at Tech. However, the art I indulge in now was not a subject back then. I do ceramic art and taught for quite a number of years. I always admired Salvador Dali and fantasy illustrator Frank Frazetta. Also Dale Chihuly, who is a fantasy artist in glass. Now I just play in my studio. I was born in New York City. Have lived in N.Y.C., Miami, Detroit, and now in mid-Michigan in Standish. From all those cosmopolitan cities to the woods of Michigan. Been in Mich. the longest time, 33 years. it Bull mix. The smartest dog I have ever known, and a love sponge. Have 5 children, ages 38 to 51. But only 3 grandchildren. One was adopted from the hospital in Las Vegas. They are 4, 15, and 19. My favorite style of dress is a sweatshirt and jeans. It is quite cool and dampish here most of the time. We are in the woods and not far from the Rifle River. I am still friends with the best friend I had in high school. We email each other and share photos constantly. My computer has replaced my kilns as my favorite toy. I guess this is me in a nutshell.
