Carol's Story
Since my former husband destroyed my yearbook, I don't have a then and now picture readily available. This is a picture of my husband Lee and myself.
I have six grandchildren and ten step-grandchildren which I consider 'my grandchildren' as well. Woohoo, sixteen in all!!! Plus, we just adopted a family, since they have very few living family members and they just had a new baby boy on June 23, 2008. He is the younger brother of Eric, 12 and Sami, 9 1/2. His name is Connor and we are thrilled to be special in their lives.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my bathroom and add on a larger deck. My dream home would be a bit larger than the home we have now and have a sun porch/Florida room/Michigan room; whatever it is called these days.

Eighteen years ago I wore dressy clothes to work and comfortable clothes the rest of the time. Now that I'm retired from the court I wear jeans unless I'm at my part-time job which requires a dress code. I dress up once in awhile. Mostly, I like my clothes to be comfortable.
I share my home with my husband Lee, who is the best husband I could ever hope for.
I hope to be retired in 10 years.
My first job was working for Beecher School District, in seven of the district's libraries. What I remember most about it is helping the kids pick out the book that would make them smile..
Old friends may remember our winning bowling team. It was made up of Donna Allman, Gloria, Judy Hodge and myself. We sure had a lot of fun at Northwest Bowling Alley.
