Carol's Story
Life
Short and sweet. Education; AA Business Admin, BS Behavioral Science, Teaching Credential, MS Educational Counseling, currently persuing Ed. D. in Teacher Leadership. Relationship; Remarried five years ago...very happy. Job; been teaching for 17 + years in Sacramento, CA. Future; bought land in Hawaii 2006 and house is now finished relocating July 2007. Will finish my teaching career there. Aloha! UPDATE: Make that counseling career. Now in Hawaii and am working as a school counselor at Pahoa School complex (k-12) on the Big Island. Get to see the sunrise over the ocean on my way to work every morning. It doesn't get much better than this!!
College
I eventually ended up going back to coll...Expand for more
ege not once but three times. I dropped out of Merced College after a year to work full time and just enjoy being on my own. Got married, moved to Sacramento and completed my Associate in Business Administration at American River College. Went back to college after divorce. It was my way of coping so I threw myself in whole heartedly and got a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Teaching Credential in Elementary Ed with a Business Supplement at National University. Then I enjoyed that so much I went on to get a Masters in Educational Counseling two years later. Been teaching for 17 years and now I'm looking at a getting a Doctorate degree in Education. Some people just don't know when to quit I guess.
