Life
Hmmmm where do I begin.... I graduated from high school and I wandered aimlessly for a while till I went to Bryman (remember those dippy commercials on tv), it actually was a great school. I went to work for doctors,I worked in the lab drawing blood taking ex-rays, doing blood chemistries ....all which helped me in my next career ...lol. I went to Portland, Oregon to be in my cousins wedding and met my husband, on a blind date.I knew we would be married the minute I met him, told my dad to start saving his money cause there was going to be a wedding.We married in '78 and my sister-in-law and I opened our first retail store.Lady Madonna Maternity ... we didnt know squat about retail but we sure knew how to have babies..we both had three while running the stores.....all boys. nd and I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. Boom Town USA.I got a job as General mgr. of a retail company, with stores in hotels and at the airport. Later I became the buyer for the Luxor Hotel which was wonderful, I got a trip to London and Egypt out of that. and then later moved to the Sahara Hotel as Retail Director. My oldest is 25 and he has a 3 yr old little boy who is just wonderful.My 23 yr old spent 4 yrs wrestling for the WWE in training and was ranked in the top 500 wrestlers worldwide. My 18 yr old is going to school and is hoping for a baseball career he is in training and hoping to go for try-outs in the pros next yr. My husband is semi-retired buying and selling real estate and stocks. Im busy now with the kids, grandchild , three dogs and charities. I'd love to hear from anyone of the graduating class of '71.
