Carol's Story

Life Since my divorce in 1996, I have moved quite a bit. I am presently living in AZ and I hope to make this my permanent home. I am a realtor, but have recently become a real estate investor as well. I have three daughters, one in NY and two in AZ. This summer(2004) I traveled with my daughters to Europe for 4 weeks. I never thought I would be able to do something like that on my own. I guess life could be worse! Time for an update! 2007 My investing career is going well. I now have several homes in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Goodyear and Flagstaff. My oldest daughter got married in March and is now pregnant. My middle daughter has gotten a new job as an art director for a Phoenix design firm, and my youngest returned to NY and is staying with friends. I took most of the summer off and stayed at my home in Flagstaff where the temperature is 25-30 degree...Expand for more
s cooler than the valley! I'm not sure how much longer I can take the AZ summers. I am single and I don't mind, but it would be nice to fall in love again. Perhaps this year... 2008 update! I have a new grandson, DJ and he is the cutest baby I have ever seen (can you tell he's MY grandson!)I got engaged to Randy. He's a great guy. My oldest daughter bought a new home in north Phoenix, my middle daughter went to Uganda with Food for the Hungry, and my youngest daughter is engaged to an ex-marine. He is a great guy and they plan to get married October 2009. I will be moving again in October to a new home and will rent the one I am in now! Hopefully this will be it for a while! Next move will be to retire in a condo on the beach! October 2009 Randy passed away, August 21, 2009. His death was sudden. He died 6 days after my youngest daughter's wedding.
