Carol's Story
Update! Been married 57 years. Have 6 grandchildren ranging in ages from 10 to 26. Lived in Glencoe, IL 41 years and moved to Highland Park 7 yrs ago. Have 6 grandchildren ranging in ages from 9 to 26. The oldest of our grandchildren is married and we are great grandparents of a little boy who will be 4 years old soon and a brand new great granddaughter who was born 4 daysa ago, June 2 2013.. This is the best. My husband has had more time to spend with our great grandchildren than he ever had with his children and grandchildren. All our grandchildren live within 15 minutes of Highland Park, so we have very fortunate to be able to watch them grow up. grandchildren. We are fortunate to have most of our family nearby except out oldest son who lives in Chapel Hill, NC and has just opened a new sports bar in Carrboro, NC called 2nd Wind. My husband was quite ill, last summer we didn't expect that he would be with us much longer, but again someone is watching over us and he has made a tremendous recovery and is feeling good. The reunion committee is trying to decide how many people are interested in a 60th reunion. I will be sending all of you emails again.. Please send me your emails through classmates. Some of you have replied but the majority have not. We have to make a decision soon. Wait for the email and I will answer and send you a questionnaire.
