Carol's Story
As most of you may know I lost my best friend, my soulmate, Tommy last year on 5/23; we would have been together 40 yrs this year. It is coming up on a yr now but still a big hole in my heart. I have to say that I was thankful that he was able to do the job he loved prior to his passing. He worked in the drag racing field, in many cases on TV for several shows, lots of pics of him in major drag racing magazines then worked several local tracks here in Texas that were picked as "track of the yr" when he worked those so he had a very sp...Expand for more
ecial "knack" in what he did. I had no idea of how many people whose lives he touched and what they thought of him. I can only take each day one at a time; I still work for the same company that I have now been with for 40 yrs; they have been there for me and have gone through a lot with me. I am raising my 6yo grandson whom I am adopting and that has certainly kept me young! My son, Josh has picked up the drag racing "bug" and has a car that he runs at the track Tommy worked. Tommy did get to see him run that car before he passed.
