double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar." (Julius Caesar)". More about Carol (Carolyne):""Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” ~ George Bernard Shaw I love to laugh. I love to feel. I love to take chances. I love to use my brain. I love having to think on my feet, and I'm good at it. I love cooking for a bunch of people and having lots of wine and conversation into the wee hours. I love being loved, and giving love. I love fast cars, with the top down. I love winding roads. I love the ocean, and the taste of salt water on my skin. I love the sun on the water and sand. I love the texture of sand in between my toes. I love hand made kaftans, and the way cotton feels next to my body. I love life, even when I am angry at how I cannot always control it.".

Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers out there, pet mothers, as well. I was trying to think of something wise to say that you’ve not heard before - I couldn’t - so instead I am sending out much love to you all.
Yikes, and only a fan because I am off grid.🥵
