Carol's Story
Carol transferred from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City, to Yukon High School, during the fall of 1972, her senior year. Her younger sister Dana Mowdy Spencer transferred to Yukon at the same time. After being graduated from Yukon High, May of 1973, Carol attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK, earning her B.A. in History, minor in Psychology, and Secondary Education Teacher Certification. s an adult son who is married with children. Carol's article "Tribal Political Organizations" is in the new 2015-2016 Oklahoma Almanac, published by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries. Her non-fiction history book Oklahoma's Historic Little Dixie will be released late 2015. A hard cover coffee table style book with 125 color images, the book will be available on Amazon.com, or through the San Antonio publisher HPNBooks. Carol is working on numerous adult and children's writing projects.
