, and ended my career in Knoxville by starting a Parish Nurse Program and managing it for 6 years. In retirement I've written two nursing books (Nursing the Spirit and Faith Community Nursing). We have four grandchildren. Our children live in Kansas, Wisconsin, and Ontario, Canada. I am the piano accompanist for our church choir and play for the local theater musicals. We're very active in our Episcopal church. David teaches blacksmithing at our local John C. Campbell Folk School and I take classes there. We also enjoy local Elderhostel classes and traveling to see family and overseas. We built a timber frame house in the mountains of western North Carolina and have lived in Brasstown for 8 years. Brasstown is famous for its annual New Year's Eve Possum Drop.
