Carol's Story
Hmmm... this is a bit longer than the other ones I've seen on here... I must be just fascinating! :)
About my life since high school:
I met my husband, Avery, in college. We married in August 1996. Avery went to grad school in Cookeville, TN, and then we settled in Chattanooga. This past September, we made the big move across country to Pierre, SD, where Avery works in the capitol building on the state health insurance plan.
About me:
The most important thing to me is raising my children in the ¿nurture and admonition of the Lord¿. I want them to grow up knowing him and seeing him through our example. To that end, we homeschool and train them in chores and proper attitude. I¿m quite scheduled, organized and a bit of a perfectionist. I love pictures, and take way too many. I love to watch Futurama reruns with Avery. I love to watch the girls dance around the family room, and see their acts of kindness toward each other. I love to shop (in the clearance racks) for pretty clothes.
About my husband, Avery:
Avery is a good complement to me. He reminds me not to worry so much about things, and encourages me that we are on the right track. That has been a real comfort to me as we have added children and busyness to the family. Avery is also a wonderful father ¿ much more involved with the children than the typical dad. He always encourages me to rest and take breaks, and is very gentle and loving with all of us.
About Ellie:

She is a ¿mini-me¿. She is a typical firstborn, organized and very helpful. She is happiest curled up reading a book, but also loves dancing, swimming, and playing outside. She loves words and likes to come up with silly stories and ways to say things. She is very sweet to little sister Charlotte and sounds just like a little mommy when taking care of her.
About Miriam:
Miriam Grace, 5, was born July 23, 2002. She is our little scientist, taking after her Daddy. She asks us lots of questions about how things work and what¿s inside this or that. She says she would like to be a marine biologist and study whales. She is also extremely generous. She¿s always out of money because she gives it away. She loves to make cards and presents for people.
About Charlotte:
Charlotte Aine, 2, was born October 2, 2005. She is full of joy (which is what her middle name means). She loves music and dancing. Her face just lights up when the music starts. She¿s very friendly, with waves and smiles for everyone she sees. And she is a good eater, which is a new thing for our family! She will try anything, including all the spices I¿m using when cooking.
About Wyatt:
Wyatt Avery, 3 months, was born January 15, 2008. It sure is different having a boy in the family. He is less fussy than the girls were, and we are enjoying him very much. He seems a little more serious, too. I¿m sure he will bring even more change as he gets older and we look forward to seeing what that will be like.
