Carol's Story
Hello visitor! Happy you stopped by.
After graduation, I attended Cal State LA, majoring in Nursing. I married Jim Lillie (SMHS ÃÂÃÂ63) in 1965. We had two sons (John & Glenn) and spent the next 17 years together. We lived in Arcadia, Huntington Beach, and San Clemente. I stayed home for many years, then eased into the workforce working for a group of Orthopedists in Newport Beach and a Pulmonologist in San Clemente.
After Jim and I divorced, I had a series of secretarial jobs which culminated as an Executive Secretary in the I.S. department of Allergan (a pharmaceutical company) in Irvine. I retired from Allergan (after 22 years) in March 2012), and am enjoying retirement very much. I work a couple hours a week at the Huntington Beach Central library as a volunteer computer coach, and am also a volunteer with the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

y name again and am still Carol (Roberts) Lillie). Richard is a petroleum engineer with his own consulting business. We live in Huntington Beach but spend as much time as we can spare at our cabin in the mountains. We love traveling and manage several interesting trips each year - the best so far was three weeks in China, Mongolia, and Tibet. We spent several years doing advance planning for the "annual meeting" for one of Richard's professional groups which gave us an excuse for extra trips to inspect locations for future meetings.
The boys are grown, one has four kids - so I'm a grandma (and soon will be a great-grandma). John is a programmer and Glenn is a teacher. They are both older than I ever thought I'd be. Hmmmm.....
