Carol's Story
Attended 2 years at The King's College in Briarcliff Manor, NY. My JR year of college 66-67 studied with the Scandinavian Seminar in Sweden, learning the language of my heritage and visiting relatives on both parent's sides. Married in 1969 in CT, moved in 1971 to Maryland, then lived in the Seattle, WA area from 1973-2000 (86-88 in Oregon), raised 3 daughters.

ncial Advisor, working in WA, RI and CT. Sold property in RI; residing in Fairfield, CT, since July 2006. Retired as Financial Advisor. Originated a 501c3, The Rhode Island Swedish Heritage Association in 2002. Moved to CT to tend to physically ailing parents, now deceased.
Have three daughters, Penny, Karin, Kjerstin and one granddaughter, Lily. Karin and Lily live in northern CT. Penny my oldest moved from WA in Dec 2013, beginning work as an emergency room nurse at Yale's children's hospital. She lives close to Karin & Lily. My youngest Kjerstin is in WA, often seen hiking the mountain trails.
