There has been a lot of water under the bridge since high school in 1972! I was married to a wonderful man in 1975, our son was born in 1976 and our daughter in 1977. Our children are grown now, married, and having children of their own. My husband and I went our separate ways in 1987. He was a wonderful father to our children and we remain good friends today. Currently I share a home in Allied Gardens with my wife, Suzi. We married in the short window in 2008 on the 5-year anniversary of our original commitment. I volunteer with AIDS LifeCycle, a 7-day, 545 mile, bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles (we are both Roadies on the lunch crew - my wife's long-distance cycling days we're cut short after being hit by a car one morning commuting to work in 2014). I’m also a member of the San Diego Women's Chorus, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization for which I served for a time on the board of directors as board president. Through my involvement with these organizations I have been able to combine my creative, activist and feminist sides. Spending time with my grandlittles, volunteering with ALC, and singing with the women of SDWC, feeds my soul, nurtures my sensibilities, and gives me the strength to carry on.
