Carol's Story
After graduating from GF, I worked for D.I.A. at the Pentagon for a few years. Had a major turn in my life and needed a change, started back to school so I quit my full time job. Couldn't afford to work part time with school so went back to work full time as a bookkeeper. Married my husband Kirk in 1983 and we are still married. We have two children, daughter Kristy now 28 and having our first grandchild(its a girl) and our son Kevin now 26 years old. he School Board Office. Our family got very involved with ice hockey when Kevin started playing at age 5 and was on travel teams as goalie. I'm a Caps fan thru and thru. Kristy graduated from Radford University and has a good job in Crystal City, VA. Kirk works in Springfield and puts up with all that traffic day to day. Everyone probably remembers me best as the girl with the brace from middle school. I've had a total of 4 back surgeries now but still going. Looking forward to our first grandchild, we love her already. I'm into quilting, I've made a lot of baby quilts for co workers at school. Love my family.
