I don't think i am alone in thinking that Island Trees is a very special high school, meaning that our relationships far surpass all other high school relationships and seem to always be hidden inside of us. At our reunion get togethers it's almost as if time stood still and we picked up just where we left off the last time we met...no matter how much time has past. I love that about us...I love all of you. Since i have an older sister Johanna and also 2 older brothers Joe & John plus lived across the street from the East Village Green, i was fortunate to have met many, many people from all different ages and all different groups. I didn't hang out with one specific group of kids. You found me with Charlie Wilkerson, or Donnie Cacamis>he taught me how to drive his green nova, Ronnie Eng xo 0:) i loved him so, the Weismeyers, Sue McGurl, maybe you saw me over at Greg Salvages-one of my fav people & places to be, Joan Venier my girl i love you, Anne Van De Water, Janice Siefrieds house for after school pizza, Anthony Grimaldi, Billy Mott, Robin Archer, geezee...i wish i knew where these guys really are...and the many musicians that have come and gone in my life. Every morning Gregory Simonis sang "wake up maggie mae" to me. He liked me i think, but was afraid to actually ask me out. In retrospect, i wish i realized that then. Maybe i would have kissed him or something. 0:) I loved our school, i loved Levittown. All it's good, and all it's bad aka hanging out behind the farmers market with the bad kids...and you know who you are :) I got punished one whole summer 'cause of you.
