I have lived in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, for 17 years. Scaled down to a condo after the death of my husband and college sweetheart in 1997 after married 25 years. Class of 1967 at Wauwatosa West High School. Graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Elementary Education). Taught fifth grade for five years in Wheaton, IL, and Winfield, IL, before and after first daughter. Have lived in NJ since 1983 after husband's job took us from IL to Miami for two years. Second daughter born in FL. I retired in 2013 after teaching 25-plus years in Summit, NJ. I keep busy visiting Mom in Portland, OR, Lindsay and her beau in Ohio, and Kristen and her family in Florence, Italy. Travel there often and have been taking Italian lessons for two years.
