Carol's Story

Hi, I'm living and working in California now. I was an accountant for years but now have my own business sewing "silks" for horse jockeys. It's a lot more fun than accounting and am able to work from my home, no more commuting! I was living outside Los Angeles but am now in the ...Expand for more
San Bernardino mountains about two hours east of L.A. and just go to my shop at the racetrack one day a week. It's been a lot of fun to see my work on jockeys in big races such as the Kentucky Derby and Breeder's Cup, a whole different world than I grew up in there in Newport News.
