Carol's Story
Life
After graduation I went to work for BCBS of VA and stayed there until 1980. After working for twelve years I took a little break then went to work for Jarvis Corp in mid 1980, doing commission accounting, and stayed there until June 1994 when I moved to Newton NC. I loved living in NC and we, married Ken Duty in May 1976, stayed there until 1998. While living in Newton we both worked for Electric Service of NC. Ken as an Estimator and I did office work. We moved back to Richmond in 1998, big mistake, and found out we really liked NC. I call 6/98 to 6/99 the lost year! e until 9/2005. While in Denver I worked for The SYGMA Network as an HR Coordinator and really liked that job. SYGMA is a food distributor for chain restuarants. We are now in Myrtle Beach SC and I have no idea how long we will be here. I would love to go back to NC but four moves in twelve years is a lot of moving around. I'm not crazy about this area but I can live with just about anything. Unless it is a Cat 5 hurricane and you will see me back in NC real quick! LOL! Ken and I never had children but have always had dogs. We also have extended family in NC that we dearly love and miss every day. One day, I would very much like to be working with animals.
