Carol's Story
Life
Attended Washington H S 1961-63 & Ben Davis H S 1963-65. Married 6/66, divored 4/73, 1 son and 1 daughter, 3 grand-children. Finally have a few college credits to my name. I'm a work-a-holic who does NOT want to be in management. Looking for old friends from all levels of school. I tell everyone I meet about this website, it is the greatest.
My son was shot & killed at work on Sunday morning Nov 2, 2003. Then my father died on May 6, 2004. In Jan 2007 I moved back in with my Mother. Now I'm ready to get on with my life.

Jan 13, 2010 my 86 yr old Mother under goes breast cancer ...Expand for more
surgery. Jan 15,
my oldest grand-daughter's baby boy is delivered 6 weeks early. He has multiple problems but Brayden is a fighter. April 14, 2010, Brayden dies. May 4 my Mother has a procedure done on her throat. A growth is found and a biopsy is done. 2 days later we get the results, terminal cancer and then we are told she has 4 to 6 months to live.
Now I take one day at a time, I don't plan ahead for anything other than her Doctor visits. August 19, 2010 Mother stops breathing. Now she's with my Father, my Son, and my Great-grandson in Heaven.
