Life---Update 06/22/23 New Mexico since 1968, truly the Land of Enchantment. I lost my husband and best friend of 22+ years in 2006. But life goes on with new adventures, friends and activities. No children but stepsons--one in Albuquerque---one in Denver. My years in Community Bible Study have been very rewarding with a caring, in-depth study and a chance to serve on the leadership team. My church provides great friends and fellowship as well as spiritual growth and a chance to serve. Dancing several times a week since 2007 keeps me active and gives me many special friendships. After the pandemic have continued but not quite as often. My fascination with Italy continues. "Walking thru Tuscany" tour 2007 and then 3 weeks in 2019 including Capri and Cinque Terre. Now just did tour of Sicily and southern Italy with 3 friends. I did all the driving so that felt like a great accomplishment. Amazing history spanning thousands of years. The Greeks settled much of Sicily (among many other conquerors) and the ruins are supposedly as good as in Greece! Favorite site was Alberobello and the trulli houses. You can look t...Expand for more
