Carol's Story

I am currently residing in Surprise, AZ (the home of the Royals spring training camp) and love it. My daughter and her family are in Scottsdale, and my son still lives in Overland Park. Thank goodness for a son-in-law that flies for Southwest and gives his mother-in-law passes whenever I want one. I moved here in the summer of 2006 when it was 115 degrees which should have told me something about me. I am crazy enough to still be teaching. I taught two years in Paradise...Expand for more
Valley but the fall of 2008 I am switching to Dysart to reduce the driving time and have more time to play. How could anyone not like it in Arizona when the sun shines all the time, and you see all ages of baby boomers out doing more than they did when they were much younger. I am always looking to re-connect with fellow Bluejays! If you haven't tried pickelball, you are missing out on a lot of fun. Life is too short to just sit and let it pass you by. Yeah Bluejays!!!!
