Carol's Story
Moved from Southfield to Gaylord after the 11th grade. (1968) Graduated from Gaylord High School in 1969. Married Ken in May 1970. Have 2 children - Scott & Shelly. 7 grandchildren. We bought a Glass Co. in 1975 in Grayling, then in 1980 opened another in Gaylord. Moved from Gaylord to Onaway about 10 years ago. Now live in a log cabin on 120 acres. It's heaven here. 5 years traveling throughout the US. Lost the love of my life to lung cancer 2/25/07. Have a great family. Scott is buying the business. Shelly is the manager of a beaty salon and was voted the best beautician in Gaylord a couple months ago. I keep busy as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. I travel around Michigan alot with it. I am currently in a new relationship and am happy.
