Carol's Story

Life I did't get to attend CVHS very long. My Dad was transfered to Colorado and we had to move. However, I grew up since Kindergarten with most of you and I remember you all still. I was in a Camp Fire Girl group for many years with Mrs. Olsen as leader. Nancy Olsen was her daughter. My best friend in school was Chris Rife. We still keep in touch. When we moved I attended Harrison High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I graduated from that school in 1969. My heart was always with La Crescenta, California and all my childhood friends. Upon graduation from high school I went to college for a couple years. In 1971 I met my husband to be, and in 1972 we were married. our married life. We celebrate our 32th wedding anniversary in June this year. I don't know where the time has gone. I still have an 18 year old INSIDE!! However, as we all know, the outside is now 50+! We have no children, but we have a TeaCup Poodle that we love like a child. Our little Hershey is 2 now. She is big enough to hold in one hand and weighs about 5 pounds. Five pounds of pure LOVE but 50 pounds of PUPPY "devilishness"! A real heart breaker! We live in Aurora, Colorado now. My husband works for the Department of Defense. He has been there since leaving the Army in 1973. We are looking toward retirement in about 1 1/2 years. I will be so happy to have him home with me.
