Carol's Story
I was another one of the invisible kids but, survived the High School crap.
Shortly after I graduated In 1973, I was diagnosed with terminal liver disease. I lived another 17 years, to be able to get a new liver in 1991. I had became critically ill from the use of birth control drugs in high school. Now, I am one of a few dozen of the longest lived recipients!

Health Counseling. I loved being an adult student & graduated with a 3.9 cum! I have recently retired from working as a Mental Health therapist & Program Coordinator. I enjoy working with folks who are seriously mentally ill.
My loving husband, Dale died in 1998. I was determined to move ahead & I have! I finished my BS, worked with folks that I loved & have had a great run at this end of life.
I always was a late bloomer!
