Carole's Story
Life
Following what seemed like a dozen parties with the statue of liberty and a summer blurred with wine coolers, the beach, working to save for tuition and unmentionable teenage acts of lust, I headed off to Rutgers where I graduated in 1990 with a BA in Communication and English. For the past 20+ years I have worked for various non-profit organizations mostly in New York and Massachusetts. Right now I am a Major Gifts Officer at Clark University and serve on the Board of a non-profit, Brookview House, Inc. that provides transitional housing and helps homeless families gain self-sufficiency.
I finally bought a 1967 Mustang a few years back (I guess I had to wait until it wasn't trendy an...Expand for more
ymore). My other hobby is playing pool: my highest ranking was #4. In 2004, I married the love of my life shortly after we bought a house in Boston. About a year and a half after the birth of our daughter in 2008, we moved out into the country so I can hear the crickets once again.
My parents moved to Leisure Village so even when I visit Long Island, I don't run into many people I know. It would be great to see some friendly faces from Centereach, Dawnwood and yes, even Oxhead Road Elementary School for those of you with whom I go back that far.
