My Kids
New News: I have a daughter named Heather who is now 36 years old and a beautiful granddaughter named Alexa. My granddaughter was pictured in a documentary by TLC called "Can't stop growing." My son-in-law has made a website for Alexa and you can view the interview and watch the program on her website called Alexasworld.net website. Anyway, my granddaughter is suffering with Proteus Syndrome which is another name for the Elephantman's disease. In addition, by going to her website you can read and see what my daughter goes through and also what Alexa goes through. My daughter just came back from the National Institute of Health for Alexa's yearly visit. Alexa is now going deaf in one ear and she will have her operation on June 24, 2008. The doctors have to remove a large bone that has blocked her hearing. Hopefully, the surgery will be a sucess so she will be able to hear again. Plus, Alexa faces another operation where she might have to have her skull opened and her bone because her sutures have growned together and it is putting pressure on her brain. I talked to my daughter this past weekend and she said, she will probably not let Alexa go through the operation because my daughter fears that once she has this operation, the chances of Alexa's bone in her skull will grow back over time. My daughter wants her to maybe get another procedure but I am not understanding what she means. As soon as I find out, I will update my story. UPDATE: Alexa had her surgery on her ear and it was a sucess. In addition, my daughter contacted Make A Wish Foundation to go for Alexa's wish to visit where Baby Einstein is filmed. The great news came and Alexa will be a part of the 10th Anniversary for Baby Einstein Celebration. Alexa got to meet the creator Julie Aigner Clark and Jennifer Garner. This is old news: My daugther has just gotten married on June 3, 2006. She was a beautiful bride. I told her I have done one good thing in my life and that was to give birth to a Princess. When my mother passed away a few years ago and she told me how proud that she was of me. She said, that she had given birth to a dry waller, an electrician, a registered nurse and of course me the beauty queen.lol Anyway, getting back to my daughther and her wedding it was a grand event and I felt very weird being back in Marion. It had brought back many great memories. My husband drove my sister and I down Bocock Road and we were saying who lived where. I remember the Harter Girls, Denise Johnson, Bobby Winters, Dan Oliver, Mike and Kathy Bruan, and of course Wendy Cox. I did see where Bobby Winters family house was up for sale. I was crying over the price of the house. Because you can not find a home that large and in that price range in the State Florida.
Currently, I have returned back to Florida because of I wanted to return back to school and earn a bachelor's degree in Accounting. Therefore, we returned back in 2010. I am Currently working for a Gulfeagle Supply in Ybor City, Florida as a Staff Accountant and living back in my home in Riverview, Florida.
I hope you all enjoyed reading my story and signing my guest book. You would all be suprised that I remember every single one of you that has signed my book. I try to keep hold of my memories, like it was yesterday. Because they were the best times of my life going to Penn Manor for a half of year in 9th Grade in 1972 and finishing my school years from 1972 to 1975 at Marion High School.

Update: 2008-2009
Moving back to Pennsylvania I thought would have been more promising. I went back to work for the American Heart Association in Wormleysburg, Pa and then was laid off on May 29, 2009. I am curently working for Rosa-Rosa Italiano Resturante as their Office Manager/Accountant. Larry and I moved to Mountville, PA and we are loving it. Also, Alexa, my granddaughter will be turning 7 years old. We are so blessed to still have her in our lives.
