Carole's Story
Life
Life has been very rich and filled with surprises. If I could re-live my High School years, I would. They were the best. It's been a wonderful ride and I feel very blessed to have so many wonderful friends. Wish I could remember every minute.
I'm in my 17th year with Walt Disney World Co. I enjoyed 10 years in Entertainment and am in my 7th year in Merchandise. I'm currently at Downtown Disney. Prior to Disney I worked for the City of Orlando Downtown Development Board, HBJ, and Boardwalk & Baseball. B&B was my favorite job and when they closed their doors I, along with many friends, joined Disney. We are all still there and email frequently.
My life is full with grandchildren, church activities and work. I love crafting and love to go to craft fairs with my girlfriends. I have a group of five girlfriends (we've been called the YaYas) with whom I travel and we enjoy monthly dinners and get togethers. We all met at Disney and four have now retired. I'm counting down for retirement too...about 5 more years, hopefully.

ars ago and is in business for himself. He and his partner have a couple of patent pending software programs that they are marketing. Very exciting. He's also a private investigator and manages a Security Company.
I have been very involved in my church for several years as two of my grandchildren attend school there. I manage the coffee cafe with a team of five other members and we serve coffee, juice, bagels, donuts each week to our members. It's very rewarding.
My long-term goal is to enjoy life and friends, reach retirement and be more active with my grandchildren so that they can be more involved in after school activities. Bill and I would like to travel throughout the United States. I love the Carolina's and Northeastern states. While the children were growing up we camped a lot, but mostly in Florida. We hope to have a second home one day. Our dream is to build a log cabin in Montana. We currently have a log cabin in Clermont.
