Carole's Story

Life I moved away from NYC in 1971 to return to college and complete my undergraduate work. I landed in the midwest and migrated to Chicago shortly after graduation. I always intended to work my way back to NYC but Chicago got a grip on me. I envy so many people who have been able to stay in touch with high school friends and so I hoped that this would be a way to get back in touch with people who I so vividly remember and reconnect. ch pain and joy and I am curious to see how life has treated them and how they have survived over time. I am so different now, and so much the same. I love Chicago and never thought I would find a place other than NYC that made my blood rush, but this is home now. Because my parents are both gone, and my sister died in 1992 I don't have a familial connection, and my friends have all moved away. Hoping that I hear from some old high school chums, that is if you rememember me.
