Hi, all. After graduation I worked for People's Gas Light & Coke Co. for two years & then went to work for the Rock Island Lines for 11 years. My parents moved to AZ in 1972 and my kid brother was in the Army & went on to serve two tours of duty in Viet Nam. I eventually married an Alsip police officer in 1979 and we moved to AZ that same year. My husband had fallen in love with AZ after a 1978 visit to my folks. He got on with the Phoenix P.D. & eventually retired a few years ago. However, in the meantime, we separated in 1980 & divorced in 1981. I like to say that I've been happily divorced for 41 years!! I worked for the AZ Registrar of Contractor's in the Complaint Dept. for a few months & went to work for Arizona Public Service Co. (electric utility) for 11 years, leaving as a human resources analyst.
