Carole's Story
Hi everyone, I graduated in June 1966 and by July I went to Texas. I met my husband who was in the USAF and maried the next year. I was studying to be a LVN as seen in my picture. After this, we were stationed in Fla. My son was born in Fla and 18 months later my daughter was born in NC. We lived in SC by his parents. In 1990 , We had moved to Mesa, Az. for 12 years and came back in 2003 back in SC. My daughter was sent to Afganistan with her National Gurd group this past year(2007). My son was in the Air Force but got out after 8 years to attend college. I have had 39 foster chileren in my care over the years and the last six years I had six exchange students (3 from Thailand, 1 from Japan, 1 from Vietnam and 1 from Korea). May God Bless . Carole

ave had two more exchange students. My last student was 2010. I have had one to graduate from Claflin University and one in her freshman year. There will be two more here upon vacations.... going to Claflin. in the year of 2012-2013 . My son is engaged the date is Oct. this year, 2012. That's all. Well, I am updating my story. My son got married. I have another exchange student this year, yep. Vietnam he is 16. Youngest one I have had. He isn't planning on going to Claflin but in California for his degree. I lost my mother on Christmas of 2012. That's up to date . My son was married on Oct. 12 2012. First marriage. They met on line over 5 years prior to the wedding. Wish I could see some of the class mate in that gym homeroom. I'm not on facebook much anymore. Today is Sept. 25, 2013 . Jesus loves you and may God bless.
