Carole's Story
After NDV I attended college at Gonzaga, spending my senior year at their Florence,Italy program where I had the opportunity to get acquaited with my Italian relatives near Lake Como and to actually learn Italian. I graduated with an English major and taught English and French in High School for a few years. In 1966 I married the love of my life, Patrick McIntosh; we moved to Sacramento and raised four children; Pat became a real estate broker which allowed me to stay home with the kids. a residential appraiser, running my own business which I truly loved. In 2006 our two youngest children got married, we sold the family home, moved on to a sailboat and headed for Mexico. We spent the better part of 2 years cruising the west coast of Mexico, mostly in small, out-of-the way little towns. We returned to SF Bay in mid 2008 and are now in a home in Carmichael (suburban Sacramento), enjoying our grandchildren and planning some land trips. We enjoy biking, I play some tennis and love to cook, bake, sew for my grandchildren and read.
