Carole's Story
Hi, After I left Wilbur, I moved to Bellingham, Wa. I met my husband at a Church dance. We had 4 children. Two boys and 2 girls. My second boy only lived for 25 hours. We have lived in Sitka, Al, Salt Lake City, And we had an 80 acre Horse Ranch outside of Milwaukee for 10 years . Then we lived on Kauai, Hi for 23 years. In 2006, we moved to Nv. 2 blocks from me. I live with my 9 year old dog and 11 year old cat, Pixie and Sassy. I have 7 grandchildren aged 15 to 28. And1 great grandson aged 4. They are divided between Kauai and Dallas. I love Blackjack and Bingo. I wish I had stayed in Wilbur. I miss the small town feeling. And I had such a great childhood there. Even though, everyone knew my family was poor, I was happy. I have traveled all over, but still think of Wilbur often.
