Life
Hey! Hey! Hey! It's Caroline! So the last 20 years I have had 3 kids...Cierra, 17 and a Bearden High Schoo Graduate, Will, 16, and Elena who is almost 8. I have been married for 18 years and am currently anxiously waiting for my divorce to be final - that would be July 25th!!!!. We moved to Knoxville, Tn in 1993 and have loved living here! I was a stay at home mom for 13 years involved in every PTO and PTA 'thing' I could. My parents bought a Garden Center/Floral Shop/Landscape business and I joined them in 2004 as thier Customer Service Manager. You can check it out- knoxvilleflowermarket.com!! . We are an upscale shop and will be in the March 2007 issue of Southern Living!! I now own it and and running the store. It's a challenge to be the boss of you parents!!! We have a garden Center with a lot of native and hard to find varieties of plants. We also do fresh cut flowers and Landscape design and install.
My daughter, Cierra, had graduated from Bearden High School and is very involved in costume design for a local theatre group. She babysits - and works for a local gourmet pizza shop and for me at the shop and is an amazing young lady. She is in California for the summer with her dad and aunts. She is loud, strong, positive, beautiful, and I am very proud of her.
My son, Will, is an athlete and straight A student. He is a rising Junior at Bearden High School and, of course, thinks it's boring. He loves to play Disc Golf and is considered one of the top players in his age group in the world (although he plays with adults). He placed 1st at The Memorial in Phoenix, Arizona in March beating 145 men 25-40 years old. He just got back from Twin Springs, MN and Ann Atbor, MI and did well there too! He got to play two rounds with Ken Klimo and Dave Feldburg. He also has an invitation to the World Champ. Tournament in Millwaukee, Wis. He is considered a professional in the sport and is up for Rookie of the year in the PDGA.
He also plays basketball. He's 6' and still growing and the opposite personality of Cierra. He's quiet and calm and lives for ESPN, a beautiful sunny day to throw discs, pizza and a good seat at the Vols Basketball game.

going in to 3rd grade. She reads on a 4th greade level and is a mess. Ha ha! She is spoiled rotten by her sister and is border line annoying to her brother. Tom-boy is an understatement. She plays awesome basketball and softball. She played on a 9and under team this last spring and was the 2nd baseman and was batting clean-up in the line-up. She is such a total combination of the two older kids. She was a later thought in this life, but a good one. Sponge Bob is the current hero and she also loves to ride her bike, play in the park and jump on the trampoline with the sprinkler underneath!
I have 3 dogs, - yeah I know - nuts - Mickey the Border Collie is 17 and Harley the 'something or other' that is 3. Chaco is a chocolate lab mix that found his way to my house and just decided to stay. He is 9 months old and a realy happy great dog. Good thing he's cute because he eats everything - including my Chacos!! At one point, I had 4 dogs and a cat. Those not present are missed very much.
I am very very lucky that my kids are so great. They are everything to me. My X husband, Dudley and I have been apart for 3 years. Unfortunately, divorce is the only option and what I have avoided that for a lot of years. One step at a time. My life is full of work ( I have what my mom calls my groopies - customers that will only talk with me) and my kids activities and I just love being a mom. Life is good. I have a hole, but that is to be filled at another time in my life.
My future holds a vacatioin to Disney World, to be picked up from the airport in a goofy bus and stay in a hotel that has a gigantic Buzz Lightyear and play and play and play on the roller coasters and swim in the pools, eat pizza and junk food every night!! Unadulteradted FUN!!!!
I have taken this time in my life to reflect on my life and think about my past. I guess with a child in High School, it just all brings back memories. Also going through this impending divorce brings me to all the things I should have and could have done in this life. All I know is I have great kids, a great family, and I will succeed in this life - one way or another.
