Carolyn's Story
Life
Grew up all over the country....mostly east coast and west coast with a few stops in between...been in California continuously since about 1970....worked in the airline biz for 18 years , went through a big merger, decided to bail and went back to school to retrain as an ultrasound tech.... best move I ever made.... now merger proof and have great work/life flexibility....just joined Lion's club on a limited basis, to give some time to the community....have a husband, a house, an RV, 2 cats (child substitutes), and will hopefully retire in the next 5 years and go see the country in ...Expand for more
our condo on wheels (RV).... may stop in to visit you !!(update...2008... now retired !! still work once in awhile for a little extra pin money ...).
School
We moved every 2 to 4 years throughout my childhood and early adulthood...... always in a new school with all the wrong stuff !! As soon as I'd get the right stuff, we'd move again !! I was very shy at the time as a result of the moving and my parent's divorce...
College
Actually majored in BioChemistry...... almost graduated, but got burned out in my senior year, 2 quarters from graduation....oh well !! Hasn't mattered much.
