Carolyn's Story
Life has been an interesting journey for me. In high school, I wanted to become an actress, in real life I became a Vice President of a bank, being an actress may have been a better choice the way things are these days!
I married, moved to Colorado, had a great son, Donavan, who is now a father himself, to my fabulous granddaughter, Donya, who is the real budding star in the family. I divorced, move to Oregon, ending up in Kent, WA, where I am that VP for now.
Life has been good to me, I have great friends, and enjoyed great adventures, and traveled to the places I use to dream of. I have aloving mate in Stewart, after being single 26 years after my divorce. While banking is extremely stressful these days, it has allowed me do the things I wanted to do, and help others achieve their dreams. I am big into "Make a Wish". ...Expand for more
It is hard to say what the future brings, and I think a career change is in my future, however I looking forward to the next adventure. (OK so I am somewhat nervous about what that will look like, things do not always work out the way you think they will)
My hope for all of my fellow classmates from the class of 70, is that you have all had a chance to achieve your dreams, even if they did not turn out to be the ones that you had in high school. Life "Is what it is, you are in control of making the best of it."
If anyone knows the whereabouts of John Stuart class of 1969, please let me know. He was a good friend to me in high school and encouraged me to believe in myself, and I just wanted to say thank you to him. So far life has been good.
