Carol's Story
Life
Wow! I can't believe how far I've come!! No one "back home" would have guessed. From a small minded town on the East Coast to California and on. And I have loved every minute of it. Raised three children and now have 5 grandchildren living all over. Semi-Retired, but keeping busy. Love where I am and what I am doing. I am a Realtor in California and Arizona, which is where I am living now. On the Colorado River with a pontoon boat and jet ski!!

School
I attended South Hagerstown High School and graduated in 1960. After that, I moved to California and attended De Anza College in Cupertino to study computer operation. Later when I moved to southern California, Escondido, I attended Palomar College in San Marcos to study Real Estate. That's when I got my Real Estate license and started selling homes.
Workplace
While in MD, I did minimal electronic/hardware assembly. Then when I moved to California, I got really involved in the computer industry. As a "job shopper" I worked for many companies in Silicon Valley. I also att...Expand for more
ended De Anza College in Cupertino for computer operation. After that I helped manufacture the first four urine analyzers for the U.S, Army. These were the first drug test machines in 1973. This helped buy my first home in San Jose.
After this I moved to Texas which I loved!! Here we had horses and my daughter really loved riding. Horses had been my dream since before I can remember. Four years there and we moved back to California. This time to San Diego. Here I really got serious about selling Real Estate. I did really well and became one of the top 5 in my ERA office. After a quiet divorce(selling real estate destroys a marriage)I met a firefighter and we became very close. When his dad died, we sold everything and moved to Arizona on the Colorado River. We now have a pool, pontoon boat on the lake, jet ski and a beautiful home with a view of the casinos in Laughlin, NV. This is where we gamble, see shows and meet new friends. Since moving here, I have completed school !again! and gotten my AZ Broker license. It looks like I will be selling here!! But I enjoy helping people and I am very service oriented!!
