Carolyn's Story
Raised two children and currently have my Grandson with me when he is not in school or off with his parents. My household is never quiet as I have a 4 year old Standard Poodle and 5 year old Cornish Rex cat. My husband and I travel in Northern Michigan or in Florida - Sarasota - every chance that we get. He is not retired so he is still committed to his work.
I volunteer as a "Pet-A-Pet" person and find that is a rewarding experience.
I will update my profile to say that our beloved Standard Poodle, Annie, has gone to the rainbow bridge. We do have an 18 month old Shelties puppy Phoebe who is trying to fill the void left by Annie. There isn't much to up date as I live mostly the same as I did when I first wrote the first paragraph - considering my grandson is with me at all times that he isn't in school or at his TKD classes. My husband I still get away every chance that we get as he is still working and loves it.
I will edit this to included a second Sheltie, Isabelle and my grandson is graduating in the coming up June 2020.
2023 update. Husband has semi retired and our lives will need an adjustment. Must be boring or stuck in a rut as not much has changed. We both have had medical issues that have been addressed and continue to have fairly good health. Our fur babies are still with us and we enjoy them a lot. Grandson is a Junior in college as is our Granddaughter.
