After graduating High School I went on to Pierce Junior College. I met my future husband there and married in 1971. We moved to Virginia for a few years then back to California in 1973. Lived in Garden Grove for about a year and then moved back to the San Fernando Valley. Went back to College and completed my AA. Quit school and started working full time(Dumb move) Bought our first house in 1976 sold it in 1981 and moved to our second home in Chatsworth. Worked for Pacific Telephone by now (since 1979). Left phone company in 1984 & found out I was pregnant! Got hired at Gas Co. worked there till daughter, Lauren, was born then became a stay-at-home Mom. Moved to Glendale AZ in 1987, husband transfered. Went to work,at Bank of America, part time when Lauren was in second grade in 1992. Still working at B of A. WoW what a life?? School
I attended DelValle H.S. in Walnut Creek Ca 1964&1965 we then moved to So.Calif and I attended Canoga Park H.S. my Junior year and I did enjoy it. I already had a friend, Pam Shouse, that I knew since the sixth grade so it was not so hard going to a new school. Through Pam I met Kathy K. who introduced me to the Job's Daughters. I never belonged to anything before so it was kind of nice meeting other girls from other schools. I had a great math teacher and I really liked the oil painting class I had. I also took guitar but I never got very good at it. Oh, yea I also had a art class where we worked with clay and I liked that a lot. We then moved again, not far,but it required I go to Taft H.S. for my senior year. It wasn't to bad because I had friends from Job's Daughters at Taft so I wasn't too afraid of changing schools. Sally Krueger & Nancy Hiller made it bearable. I graduated with honors so I guess going to three high schools wasn't too bad although I wouldn't recommend it nowadays.
