I am a retired teacher from Illinois where I taught, primarily, high school. I grew up in Arkansas and met and married an Arkansan before finishing my undergrauate degree in Home Economics Education at the University of Illinois. I picked up a Mas...Expand for more
ter's degree in Early Childhood Education. I spent my last few years teaching for the University of Illinois (Family Life Educator) and the University of Arkansas (Home Economics Generalist, newer title of Family and Consumer Sciences) before retiring in 2000. Our three children all live in Colorado and our one granddaughter and expecting another in August, 2012.
I enjoy reading, writing, English smocking and am currently renewing my interest in crochet. My husband and I enjoy traveling domestically and internationally: We are planning a European River Cruise for 2011.".
