Carolyn's Story
Who am I, really? I'm still Carolyn, really. Still a musician. Still nuts, although now I take meds so I can be happily nuts. (It's genetic.) After CTHS, I went to college, graduated (tho not in music; got an equally useless degree in rat psych). I've worked at almost every single entry-level job that exists. Moved to Florida in 1983, got married in 1990, bought 40 acres - had horses, learned to grow grapes, trapped wild hogs, tended swamp (now called wetlands). Husband Malcolm died in 2003 of cancer; I moved back into town. The house I have now is laid out almost exactly like the one I grew up in, only in reverse and of course no basement (< 10 ft. elevation). And a quarter acre; I haven't blown up a lawnmower since I moved!

ge community chorus, directing and playing for a small retirement community chorus, singing (would you believe it) in two church choirs with occasional keyboard work, and playing in two handbell ensembles. I also play keyboard for a BAGPIPE BAND. Wearing a kilt is just a new level of cross-dressing!
My "day job" since 2004 is a Mary Kay business. It fits perfectly around my music schedule, and provides enough income to get me through the month with a little left over. The business so far has provided the money for two European vacations in 2008 and 2010, and kept my butt out of debt! Sure beats selling calendars at the mall or detailing cars.
Now, having figured out how to turn the clock back on my skin, I'm looking for a way to defy gravity on my body (spanx, anyone?)
