Carolyn's Story
Once I graduated, I attended a business college and returned to Fort Wayne for a couple of years. I then moved to D.C. to work for our then Congressman Roush and left him to work for the Democratic National Committee, where I attended the DNC Convention in Miami. While working that event I met President Carter and his wife. It was during my tenure there that I had my son. After that I spent the following years living in the D.C., Maryland, Virginia area, working for a couple of law firms. school bus driver and driving a coach bus. In 2007 I retired to Savannah, Georgia, where I presently live and do volunteer work with organications such as the American Cancer Society to keep busy. I have made good friends here and spend a lot of time at the beach, which is a 15 minute drive from where I live. I love to read, go to movies and just spending time with friends. I also love meeting new people and hearing about their lives, family and finding out what makes them tick. My favorite TV shows are the summer season: Hawthorne and Drop Dead Diva.
