Carolyn's Story
Well, first of all I graduated from Howard University in 1973. Obtained a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, with a Major in Accounting. Worked in the Federal Government from 1973 to 1985. Got married in 1979. I now have
4 grown children, 1 grandson. In 1985, I resigned from my position while awaiting the birth of my third child, I resigned, became a housewife for 10 years or so. I began working in the public schools to be off when my kids were
off. Now that is where I have been employed for the past 15 years. I returned to the Federal government and worked
temporary for 1 year and a half at the Federal communications commission as an accountant. Later returned to the school s...Expand for more
ystem where I am currently working. I was hoping to return to the federal government for at least the remaining six years before I retire. So if anyone who might be still working for the federal government or know of anyone who can get me a pass back in, please contact me, at least for old times sake, for an old fellow alumni.
Although I only attended Anacostia High for one year, it was the best, the friendliest high school I ever attended.
