Carolyn's Story
Life
Looking forward to hearing from classmates of 1961. I have recently retired as a speech therapist in the public schools and enjoy my new life. My husband Roger and I live in Watsonville. We have two sons and 6 grandchildren.
My husband's hobby is buying and maintaining houses. We have two homes in Hollister and one in Mount Shasta in addition to our primar home in Watsonville.
There has been a change since I last wrote. My beloved Roger passed away in November 2013. I was very fortunate to have been married to him for thirty five years. I still miss him.
Even though I am retired as a school speech therapist, agencies have placed me in public schools. I will be doing speech therapy at two elementary schools in Gilroy Unified School District for tw days a week.

Once a month I meet with friends who took the grief sessions called Seniors Without Spouses.
Santa Cruz High School brings many happy memories. My late husband was a good sport and took me to three football game. With two games SCHS lost by one point, and Roger preferred those games. Santa Cruz High won the last football game we attended but it was raining and Santa Cruz High was ahead by a large margin.
I have a nephew who is on the basketball team for Soquel High. At present I have not watched his team play SCHS.

I like to read, do light jazzercize, and go on walks with my friends. I also like to write short stories.
Family and friends are very important to me.
