Carolyn's Story
Left PA in May 1966 and married a man in the US Navy. We were stationed at NAS Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD; NAS Memphis in Millington, TN; NAS Norfolk in VA; NAS Sigonella in Sicily, Italy; NAS Roosevelt Roads in Puerto Rico; and also lived in Orlando, FL. After being married for 16 years we divorced. I married a second time for 2 1/2 years and lived in Jacksonville, FL. Then I decided to try it again and married another US Navy man and we've been together for 30 years and live in Fallon, NV.
As for jobs, I have been a waitress, short-order cook, bartender, photography studio manager and darkroom assistance, freelance photographer, fabric department manager in a Ben Franklin, drove school bus, nurses aid, and accountant. I have worked for a sand and gravel company, auto body repair shop, EL Bruce Company, Budget Analysis/Accounting Supervisor for the US Navy, Accounts Receivable Manager for Haskell Company construction, Senior Accountant/Internal Auditor or Fallon Nugget/Bonanza Casinos, and Administrative Manager for Systems Consultants a computer soft ware developer. I retired in Feb 2010.

in Fallon, NV and University of Nevada in Reno, NV. I finally received my Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Computer Information Systems in Dec 1996 from the University of Nevada Reno.
I have a son Chuck born in 1973 works for Verizon as a company trainer (preciously owned a comic book/role playing/trading card retail store for 17 years) and a step-son Scott in 1972 works installing flooring. We have a granddaughter Allyssa born in 2009, which we baby-sit 3 days a week.
In our retirement we travel a lot. In the past 4 years we have been to Hawaii twice; Puerto Rico; 9.5 week trip to Europe visiting Italy, France and Spain, beginning with a 15 day transatlantic cruise; back and forth across the US and up and down the East Coast twice with our travel trailer; plus repeated trips to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Francisco area, Los Angles area and Sacramento.
We are planning trips this year to Salt Lake City, Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angles area, Hawaii, Las Vegas and starting in December we plan to travel in our motor home into Southern California and Arizona. We are not sure where Jan 2015 will find us.
Our health is good. I have survived throat cancer and my husband Richard has had quadruple heart bypass surgery. We have slowed down some but life is great. We hope to see everyone at our 50th High School Reunion in the summer of 2015.
