Carolyn's Story

Life After Roosevelt and a brief time at Portland State, I went to work at U.S. Bank. After a couple of years, I took a "14 day, 14 country" tour to the Middle East. I decided to apply for a job with the tour company and I was hired to work in the Jerusalem office. I traveled to Scotland and England for a couple of months and then settled in the Middle East. During the next 4 years, I lived in Athens for a year and traveled throughout the Mediterranean area. I came home for a visit and my mom became quite ill. I have not gone back but I have continued to travel. In 1976, I met my husband, John Green, and we were married in 1977. We have a wonderful marriage and have found that while we didn't have kids of our own...Expand for more
,we are a aunt and uncle to over 20 nieces and nephews. Our love of animals has led us to be very involved in both rescue and raising dogs. I took a career turn in 1977 as well and went into real estate. After 28 years, I'm now a Principal Broker for RE/MAX in the West Hills of Portland and am currently President of the Portland Metro Association of Realtors. My husband is and Electrician for the State of Oregon. We live in the Garden Home area and have a home in Manzanita on the Oregon Coast. I love music, reading and walking. My other passion is, believe it or not, golf!!!! Great fun! I kept in contact with Robin Rickabaugh and miss him very much. I'm looking forward to seeing some of my old buds from school.
