Carolyn's Story
Life
Hello, I currently live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I have been married for over 21 years to a wonderful man. I have 4 remarkable children. My twin girls are 20. One is married with a daughter. Her husband is serving in Iraq and the other twin is a junior in college. I'm so proud of their accomplishments. My son will be in highschool next year. I also have a "surprise" baby girl that is 4 Yes, I started all over again. I will survive. I am so blessed and enjoy spending time with my family. My family is very active in our local church. We enjoy working in the ministry.

ctrate from Oklahoma State University in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Literacy Education but I developed some school burnout issues. LOL
Workplace
I'm currently a literacy coach for Tulsa Public School. My primary responsibilty is to help teachers teach their students how to read. So, I teach teachers instead of teaching students. It is a great job, but I miss teaching the children tremendously. I have been in education since 1992. I enjoy my summers and major holidays off so I can spend time with my family and read a great book. Relaxation and peace are scarce commodities in a home filled with children. In November 2008, I became a National Board Certified Teacher. I am proud of that accomplishment.
